Folkestone Documentary Festival
The 4th edition of the Folkestone Documentary Festival returns from Thursday 17 until Sunday 20 October 2024. For 4 days, doc lovers are invited to join us for 12 feature-length films, 12 shorts, an exhibition, drinks and parties, DJ lates, a communal swim, an industry day, and the chance to hear from the directors themselves in post-film Q&As.
Folkestone Documentary Festival Co-Directors, Charlie Phillips and James Collie said: “This year’s programme covers big subjects - how to be happier, refugees, mental health, the climate crisis, Palestine, trade unions and trans rights. All told through fascinating people, from a giant puppet to a very special nun, from Lithuanian beer-makers to a maverick Kent fashion artist.”
