Based in the Glassworks, Ben is an analogue filmmaker, poet, and professional copywriter.

Born on the Romney Marsh, he shoots and edits on super-8 analogue film. These works are shown at film festivals and events, as well as in gallery settings.

A planetarium-installation version of the film was later created for the Cheriton Light Festival.

His analogue films have been broadcast on BBC, Sky and Amazon Prime, on BBC Big Screens around the UK, projected onto public buildings in Athens and Beijing, in mobile cinema vans around Europe, and have also been released on blu ray and DVD.

Ben is active on the local film scene, curating festivals and film nights. This includes the Folkestone Triennial, Folkestone Film Festival and Gala, Strangelove Festival, Whitstable Biennale, Canterbury Festival, Ramsgate Film Festival, Folkestone Pride and Brighton Pride.

As a poet, he has published hundreds of poems in magazines, journals and anthologies. His last full collection, The Hospital, published by Cultured Llama, was written while staying on an NHS ward. He has been nominated for the Canterbury Poet of the Year award.

Ben is also a copywriter, with a 20-year career working across the travel, cruise, hospitality, wine, jewellery and other luxury industries.

As a brand ambassador on social media, Ben collaborates with brands such as Picturehouse Cinemas, Diablo Wines, Wagamama, Mucho Mas, Beronia and Yellow Tail. He has also modelled for Attitude Magazine, Swish Embassy, Ying Li Wong and Vonk.
