Block 67

Block 67 is Creative Folkestone’s studio space at digital:glassworks, Mill Bay, the base for an exciting programme of artist led workshops, talks and events that embrace exploration, play and creativity. Block 67 encourages individuality, imagination and the exchange of ideas in a stimulating, supportive and fun environment. Working with artists from an array of disciplines Block 67 presents a programme of family drop in workshops, school workshops, artist talks and workshops responding to Folkestone Quarterhouse’s festivals, Folkestone Book Festival and Folkestone Triennial.

Block 67 support's local schools in the curation and exhibition of pupils’ art work, enabling them to experience the process from start to finish and realise their work to a professional level. Block 67 also supports artists by creating opportunities for them to gain teaching experience with the local community and schools.
