When women count
…stuff happens
6 March to 15 March (Mother’s Day)
With this simple exhibition we are inaugurating our ‘mini money museum’ as a gesture of solidarity with Women of the World.
The way modern economic life is accounted for is often such a ‘guy’ thing, that it is easy to overlook the role women have played and continue to play in getting us to look at economic life in a more inclusive, caring and intuitive way.
The exhibition comprises an overall review of the influence of New Zealand campaigner, Marilyn Waring, combined with a range of random vignettes, each one adding its own colour to the overall theme.
Featuring:
Marilyn Waring | Terje Langeland | Sharon Ann Holt | Jackie VanderBrug | Margaret Thatcher | Greg Ogle | Naoko Komori | Anita Roddick | Irish Women Workers
