This year's Open Quarter began with Connecting Creatives, a presentation and networking event that demonstrated the breadth and wealth of Folkestone’s artists and makers as well the importance of communication and support between the creative industries and the private sector. With speaker’s including Susanne Olbrich (Hinterland Gallery), Daniel Sangiuseppe (Folkestone & Hythe Hotels Association), Peter Bettley (The Roger De Haan Charitable Trust), Ray Johnson (Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce) and many more Connecting Creatives was a great success and a fantastic chance to find out the latest on Folkestone.
