Inspired by Anthony Gormley's figures Another Time, Arrcc invites you to engage in a program of creative workshops at our Arts, Health and Wellbeing Center.
Sessions will be in distinct specialisms with the focus of each workshop exploring the Triennial theme double edge in relation to the body. No experience is necessary and materials will be provided. To book your place call Sandra or Holly on 01303 211248.

Life Sculpture - Candida Wright

Tabletop sculpting in clay from a life model. Artist sculptor Candida Wright will show you how to sculpt from life, drawing in 3D, inspired by Anthony Gormley, Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth.
Life Photography - Dominic Pillai
27 Oct, 4 - 6pm / £25 incl. refreshments
Explore the human body through the medium of photography. This will entail of series of setups with a life model. The workshop is open to beginner and experienced photographers and is the opportunity to work within a professional environment. Please bring your own camera.
Life Casting - Candida Wright & Trish Bishop

Have a go at casting your hand or foot. Bring your child to make a memorable keepsake (one child per paying adult)
Throughout October – November artworks created by our members will be exhibited in key places throughout Folkestone. Our aim is to raise disability awareness, change perceptions of people with disabilities and challenge the "perfect body" culture which places unrealistic social pressure and aspiration upon many people. Look out for them!
