Profound Sound returns to Folkestone Quarterhouse this February and the programme is huge!
Folkestone Fringe and Hot Salvation Records are back with Profound Sound 2018, from Friday 2 - Sunday 4 February. Over three days, the Festival presents a packed line-up of local and international musicians, sound artists and performers reaching across traditional forms of music to the fringes of sound-art; covering song and instrumental performance, spoken word, radio broadcasting, sound installation, contemporary classical and jazz, electoracoustic, performance, film and video.
This year's programme includes Hookworms, Nachthexen, Brassica, Hannah Sullivan, Pye Corner Audio, Reece Thomas, Virginia Wing, Bean and many more. In addition, you will be able to discover some of Kent's emerging artists, explore exhibitions and installations, take part in workshops and fill up on delicious vegan food with Sister Seitan in The Clearing.
