A one-day event to bring together postgraduate students for an in-depth exploration of some of the themes behind the Creative Folkestone Triennial 2021, with the offer of a guided tour of the artworks. Keynote speakers: Professor Lewis Biggs (Creative Folkestone Triennial) and Dr Gilda Williams (Goldsmiths). Closing event: Film Screening, Fiona McDonald (Feral Practice). Registration is Free.

The title of the conference is ‘The Matter of Circulation’. The objective of this conference is to exchange possibilities and deductions about how art and design practices are able to draw our attention to the gap between narrative and reality, and promise and execution, from a material perspective.
The deadline for abstracts is 2 August 2021. Please send your 250-word abstract with ‘Triennial Research Student Event’ in the subject header to fiaas@creativefolkestone.org.uk
