The festive season is upon us. This week we are bringing the Christmas fun by the sleigh load with lots of family fun to enjoy. Plus, if you are still trying to find that special gift, the Creative Quarter will be open for late-night shopping this Friday.
We start the Christmas shenanigans this week with the Christmas Carol concert on Thursday at St Eanswythe's church. This special evening has become something of a Creative Quarter tradition and is the perfect opportunity for the community to come together, meet new people and celebrate the festive season. As well as traditional Christmas Carols, the service also features a programme of live music, readings and performance by members of the creative community. Click here for more info.
Then on Friday, the independent shops, artists and makers of the Creative Quarter will be staying open late for Christmas shopping. Find that special gift for someone or maybe just something for yourself. Go on you deserve it. Shops staying open late include:

But wait, the festivities continue! We have a winter solstice spectacular to enjoy and then a Christmas classic with a twist in the next week. On Sunday, join us on Sunny Sands beach for Beacons: The Gathering. This is going to be an extra-special evening of music, light and fire. It is free to attend and everyone is invited.
