Folkestone Is An Art School: Polygons Play Family Workshop with Thurle Wright

Just before the summer holiday ends, we invite you under the banner of ‘Folkestone Is An Art School’, to join artist Thurle Wright, for a fabulous drop in family workshop.

Taking inspiration from Richard Deacon’s ‘Benchmarks 1-5’ Triennial artwork you will create your own folded Paper Polygon sculptures.

Play with scale and colour, whilst you assemble your unique combination of polygon forms. We will experiment with folding and sticking different coloured and textured papers.

You can take your sculpture home, or chose to make one for a larger collaborative artwork.

This workshop is free, starting at 11am - 4pm, is suitable for families, and you don't need to book, just turn up.

The workshops will be run according to current government guidelines.
