SALT + EARTH: Terra Firma Framed

SALT + EARTH: Terra Firma Framed

In this time of climate crisis, our awareness of geodiversity has never been more important, particularly the crucial role of soil. Soil is essential for so many important processes including plant growth, storing and cleaning water, nutrient recycling and for the regulation of the carbon cycle.

The Kent Downs National Landscape & Aspiring UNESCO Cross-Channel Global Geopark is partnering with youth empowerment charity Positive View Foundation. on a series of photography-based workshops to explore the wide-ranging topic of Soil Health.

A small cohort of young people are participating in 10 artist-led workshops from April-September 2024, each at different locations in the Kent Downs.
