After three sell-out runs last year and a brief hiatus, Soft Play is back and is coming to the Quarterhouse for the very first time for its biggest instalment yet.
Created by Rosie Percy (creator of local guide Instagram account @coolasfolke), Soft Play is a place to meet new people and make friends in the area, whether you’re born and bred here or only just moved. The event is based around joy, playfulness, and being a bit silly to let our boundaries down and get to know each other while having fun. After all, there’s nothing quite like connecting over a grown-up version of pass-the-parcel or pin the lighthouse on the harbour.
There're quizzes, craft rounds, competitions, challenges, forfeits – and even a few surprises and prizes to be won too. It’s loud, chaotic, and loads of fun, creating a space for you to team up with new people and dive deep into your community to leave with new pals.
This Soft Play is different to before, in that the fun will go on until 2am for those who want to stay later, with DJs after the games: making it the biggest one to date, and one of the latest Saturday nights out in Folkestone.
Previous Soft Plays have sold out in 24 hours, so act quickly if you want to join in the fun. This is one that you won’t want to miss out on.
