Vybarr Cregan-Reid: Primate Change : How the World We Made is Remaking Us
Sorry, this event has sold out
Vybarr Cregan-Reid is an author, academic and broadcaster who has written widely on literature, health, nature and the environment. His most recent book asks how modern life is changing our bodies. It looks at everything from our indoor behaviors, our height, the size of our feet, the shape of our faces, to things like allergies and shortsightedness, all of which are strongly driven by our environment.
Called "a work of remarkable scope" by The Guardian, it traces our bodies' responses back millions of years to help us understand the modern body.
