Young Animators Club Winter 2025: Ages 8-11

SATURDAY MORNING SESSIONS (Open to all): Learn new skills from expert tutors, create new worlds in stop motion and hand-drawn animation, write scripts, build sets and puppets, storyboard and create soundtracks for your films.

Each session will include fun and engaging, practical activities and an opportunity to work on ongoing projects and discuss ideas and techniques. Work with a variety of guest professionals throughout the course and meet like-minded participants.

Group A: Ages 8-11 10am - 11:30am
Group B: Ages 12+ 11:45am - 1:15pm

We have 4 free spaces reserved for children and young people who claim pupil premium. We would need proof of these in the form of an email from your child’s school. Please contact Tania for more information: taniamccormack@creativefolkestone.org.uk


SATURDAY AFTERNOON SESSIONS:

Our afternoon workshops are smaller group sessions for children and young people with additional needs, anxiety and those who would benefit from a group with fewer participants and additional support:

Group C: Ages 8-11 2:15pm - 3:15pm
Group D: Ages 12+ 3:30pm - 5:00pm
